My LCHF diet

Well, that was a surprise...
Butt - no change
Waist - no change
Chest (sides and back, I think) definitely reduced since I had to clasp my bra together a notch tighter than usual.
Odd, that - I don't think I've ever experienced any reduction in measures in *that particular area.

Odd indeed. I have actually lost some of the extra kilos already! And it's not even a week! And my stomach is more "regular" which is a relief. Oddly, I get the feeling that I pee more too.
I did have home made sourdough bread this morning, but only a few small pieces. And I have started adding cinnamon to my coffee and cream! That is *yummy*! And although I feel like I eat smaller portions, I'm not very hungry during the days.

The first and sometimes the second week, you lose fluids, so no wonder you pee a lot.
Make that two notches - at least the cup size still fits...

I've been so busy lately, I forgot to have my carb-feast day in January!
So I had it last weekend - Sunday evening, I walked over to the local pizzeria (a two-minute-walk away - I'm quite proud of myself for not frequenting it on a regular basis any more for the last couple of years).
I ordered an Acapulco.
A thin pizza (ie not a pan pizza) with the regular topping ingredients; tomato sauce, melted cheese, onion - but also with shredded tenderloin, Bëarnaise sauce and jalapeños.
I know I get too full if I try to eat a whole pizza, so I scraped the topping towards the edges of the crust (which is the part I like the best, because of its crunchiness).
Even though I only ate about half of the crust, I cr*pped a lot more the next two days.
Dark and smelly it was, too.
And yet again, it made me remember that my body is much happier if I cut down on the bad carbs.
But sometimes, I just get so tired cooking all the food I eat myself. Because there are so few good choices in the lunch restaurants.
I went shopping on my way home today (since I don't own a car, I seem to buy food almost every day). Here's what I bought:
Eggs
Full fat cream
Grated cheese
Feta cheese
At home, I have:
Pancetta
Fresh white cabbage
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Red onion
Leek
Celery (drat, forgot to buy mouldy cheese to stuff it with)
Tomatoes
Snack paprika (tiny and very flavourful)
Butter
Lard (acquired very recently, spotted it by chance)
The lard was a surprise. Mostly, I use a cheese slicer to slice butter (three slices for my frying pan).
Using lard, I only need one slice, and still have plenty of runny lard left after I've fried eggs and Pancetta.
Also, less sputtering as the fat melted - I think there's more water in butter than lard.

Recent ad campaign on Swedish TV: belVita Breakfast Biscuits that will 'release carbs slowly over more than 4 hours' thus guaranteeed not to top your blood sugar levels. Considering the product contains wheat as well as sugars, I'm not convinced. Ingredient list:
Whole Grain Blend (Rolled Oats, Rye Flakes), Enriched Flour [Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Folic Acid], High Oleic Canola Oil, Sugar, Evaporated Cane Sugar, Whole Grain Wheat Flour, Malt Syrup (from Corn and Barley), Invert Sugar, Baking Soda, Salt, Soy Lecithin, Disodium Pyrophosphate, DATEM, Ferric Orthophosphate (Iron), Niacinamide, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1)

I'm looking forward to next week's Vetenskapens värld. Identical twins, one goes on a high sugar diet, one on a high fat diet.

Meanwhile, I'm cheating a bit, using a small tortilla as a pizza, smearing it with tomato poste, adding marinated artichoke hearts, herbal salt (because there was surprisingly little salt in the artichoke marinade), finely sliced spring onions, shredded smoked ham and a *lot of shredded cheese.
Fry in small pan, put on lid after a while.
When it starts smelling delicious, plate it and eat.

I've been soooo hungry lately, eating four meals per day.
I hope it means what I think it means, because I've been cheating a bit lately, with bread and potatoes.
A weight drop would be a great motivator - I recently bouhgt jeans one size smaller than the ones I'm wearing right now. They're a bit tight around the waist, but otherwise they fit just fine.

Just checked the link, about scales. And yeah, he's got a point.
Still, I was impressed with the same weight-different shape photos.
