We've finished up the season in 2nd. Yeehaaw.
I've taken up golf. I really suck- but it's fun.

Second Place

We won our next to the last game last night. That puts us in second place. My son scored 2 of the 7 runs- hitting both times off of the pitcher (in our league, if the pitcher throws 4 balls, the batter gets the tee)- that was nice. All in all I have to say that the boys appear quite pleased with being in second. I think that the first place team remains undefeated- and as I understand it, we gave them the greatest competition they've encountered this year (They beat us 2 to 1 last week in extra innings...not too shabby). Am I pleased with second place? Oh yeah. We still have one more game- scheduled for Saturday, but I'm quite confident that we'll win...considering we beat the same team a couple of weeks ago 21 to 1. If we lose it's likely that we'll be tied for second. Not acceptable.

Chocolate Cake and Beer

Ok. Don't do it...cake and beer that is. I was up and down all night the other night with some kind of stomach illness brought on by drinking two beers after eating a healthy piece of chocolate cake.
