Hi, and welcome to h2g2!
I'm sure you're going to have an excellent time here, whatever your interests.
If you've got any questions about the site, you can reply to this message, and I'll see your reply on my homepage.
Have a good time!
(By the way, nice name... is it from Dances With Wolves?)
Catch you later, jd

Do you sit around at the door watching people as they come in - how do you know I am a first time user and how come you spotted me entering? I was given my name by the shamanic awareness within me. There is a Wind in Hair in Dances with Wolves but he was a hell of a lot more realised and braver than I so I wouldn't have taken his name that way. I have a lot to live up to!
I may well have loads of questions as I feel my way around this exciting cave - do you make it a task of yours to answer?
Welcome!

Actually Wind in Hair, there are people known as ACE's here in H2G2 that do exactly that. Pop round and welcome new people in, offer assistance, etc... I'm in the process of becoming one myself. As to how we knew you were new (say that ten times fast), there's a nice little bit of scripting you can add to your page that when you click on it, shows who's currently on and whether they're new or not. I've got one at my home page, feel free to pop round and if you'd like to set one up here, I'm more than happy to help.

Well, in the time that I was having a long soak in the bath, Shadow popped round and said pretty much what I was going to say!
Shadow, I looked in at your homepage; really nice! And I love Chicago; I was over there in February when it snowed. Loved the city, and I'm gonna try to get back over some time this year, or maybe next.
Seeya both! jd
