Ah yes. Glad you have lots of Post entries to sift through, Mister D. Shows that smiley - thepost is thriving. Busy Ed is a happy Ed? heheh.

If you want something done, ask a busy person. Someone said that to me once, suggesting that I myself was slacking. smiley - rofl. Although I know what she meant, I get more done when I'm busy.

smiley - coffee

That was all a bit philosphical, so early in the day. Even though it's lunchtime.

Great looking Post. I like the caption kittie, and ITI's Looking For the Door Into Summer.

smiley - coffee

I am in fact busy these days, a lot of arty life things coming together and forming a synthesis and glorious whole. Well, almost whole. Have to leave space for cracks and random lostness. smiley - rofl

That's a wonderfully descriptive piece about your day, Willem. Very pictorial, of course, you being you. smiley - kiss

Lovely to hear from you. smiley - kiss

Hello Peanut. It's nice to hear from you again. smiley - hug

I'm plodding along as normal, though I'm suffering from writer's block . I need some new ideas which fill me with enough enthusiasm to get me writing again. smiley - eureka.

Hello MVP smiley - hug

Sorry to hear about the writers block, I am afraid I wouldn't know where to start with ideas, the only untold story that I can think of that I ponder on occasionally is the unknown woman in the Lynton and Lynmouth disaster. And it is a lovely area to be doing some 'research' in smiley - biggrin

Yes, this is a sad story and the 'unidentified woman' is intriguing.
Who was she? What was she doing there? Why did nobody know her? smiley - erm

That is fascinating, Peanut. Wow. One lady unidentified.

Ah Peanut. smiley - kiss Lovely to hear from you, dear one.

I've decided I'm going to dress up as mvp's muse and leap out of a cooking pot one day, when she is cooking supper. smiley - rofl. I'll be a curious entity, half Buddha, half abstract space (for her to write all over) smiley - rofl, with a mysterious gaze, a handwritten letter from a relation named Simon in my back pocket, and a one way ticket to a station in Wales, yet to be named.

smiley - redwine

heheh. Mister D, you might regret that. smiley - rofl. Photos sent on location, every ten minutes, from my new friend Andy Android phone, would now tend to be 25 photos of the same coffee cup, with different art effects, including atmospheric blur ...

...several photographed pages of my notebook with a lot of handwritten observations in purple crayon from a reality that isn't really very interesting unless you're a lizard searching for another lizard, and ....

yeah yeah, OK, if I come up with something relevant or interesting, I'll send it. smiley - rofl. No idea how to size a pic from a phone, but I'll find out ...

Lovely video.smiley - smiley

The mention of a one way ticket to a station in Wales reminds me of the days when I used to get the train to Aberystwyth. It was a single track through the middle of Wales, so the driver had to stop from time to time to hand a metal token to the signalman. The train stopped in places like Machynlleth and Dovey Junction, where I got my first glimpse of the Irish Sea.

I was considering writing a story that involved a Buddha, some abstract space, a mysterious gaze, a letter from a relation called Simon, and a single train ticket to a station in Wales.

But I think it could get out of hand. smiley - birosmiley - birosmiley - biro

Ah yes. smiley - rofl.... we're making our own kind of sense, sort of, a bit, are we?

I don't beleeeeeeve that chameleon video. It's people?? I was totally convinced it was a chameleon, then it became two people. How do they do that? I want to do that now.

smiley - redwine

Yes! yes! mvp! smiley - birosmiley - biro

Here's a biro. smiley - biro And another one. smiley - biro

For the writer, I guess the biro can be like a magic wand, unless one uses a keyboard which isn't so good at all, for waving. Wave the biro magic wand! Wave the laptop, smiley - huh, scatter stars smiley - starsmiley - star like a sparkler, the word takes shape and becomes worlds.

I just saw a mad writer conducting a symphony orchestra with a sparkler-biro. smiley - rofl.

I prefer a laptop for prose - because writing with a smiley - biro gives me pins and needles. But I prefer a smiley - biro for poetry, because writing poetry involves hops and zig-zags, rather than straight lines. If that makes sense, which it might not.

So far, I've written 1400 words and I've only included the letter from a relation called Simon and the abstract space. So I still need a Buddha, a mysterious gaze and a single train ticket to a station in Wales.

Indonesia?? How amazing! Hope you have a great time, mvp! The total eclipse of the sun? When's that then? Mind you, I'm running a bit late here, so it's probably been already.

Life good. Have had quite a lot going on, between the here and the there and the this and the that, which doesn't really explain anything smiley - rofl, but it sounds more interesting than real life.

smiley - redwine

I'm doing a lot of writing again, my own kind of writing ... as if it would be any different. And I'm still in my writing group. I am currently writing a story about a guy called Jim who once wrote a twenty thousand word piece about a jar of Marmite, as experienced from various intuitive and academic aspects. And there's a 24 hr garage in there, and also a mouse. smiley - mouse

The plot is so riveting I keep having to lie down to get over the tension.

What? .. you want Marmite Jim for the Post? smiley - thepost Happy to oblige of course. It's not exactly literature nor relevant to any theme under the sun, apart from Marmite, but hey .... this you might expect. smiley - rofl Give me a day or two ...

If you ever want random contributions that aren't relevant to any theme, then I can send you photographic or written fragments of my life for you to do with what you will. That's what I'm working on right now, the fragments of my life.

I love Create and other themes, it's just that I'm slower working to a set theme right now, so slow I never get there at all. smiley - rofl

Actually, I think I've always been working on the fragments of my life ... by 'eck I do love a fragment ...it's just more intense at the moment because of my advancing years. smiley - rofl
