Quite why I have a homepage when I don't intend to submit anything to this exalted publication in the very near future remains a mystery to me. Perhaps it's an attempt to substantiate the delusion that I'm actually a fascinating person with a varied and interesting life that somebody somewhere would actually want to read about(I'd better stress here that I'm not), perhaps it highlights general egotism and self absorbtion, or perhaps it's just due to the fact that the alternative is revising U.A. Fanthorpe's terrible poetry for an English Lit. A-level in a couple of weeks, compared to which shoving sprouts up my own nostrils and then decapitating myself with a rusty teaspoon looks like pretty good Saturday afternoon entertainment.
There isn't really much to say about me. The words that most commonly spring to mind are female, English, small, verbose and slightly odd. I'm fond of bad poetry (aside from UAF, who gets her own category somewhere else) doughnuts (the jam filled kind), rain (any kind...not fussy really), Irish people, ducks, procrastination and books. I dislike net curtains, gravel, wasps, physics (nothing personal...gravity's sometimes quite useful), and waking up to find that the cat's vomited and my parents aren't around to clear it up (I'm also not that keen on responsibility.)
And that's about it really. If you've got this far you must be Really bored, so have a spiffy day.
