Well, ... 
... yes. I did also 'assist' the Mounties at a few remote posts, while wearing that other uniform. So a couple of chromed but police-grade items are here, though became dis-allowed.

The 
did come in handy once, ... An excercise, where the 
ranks thought they ought to play 'infiltrator' ... I had a very small team, we found a fat one, but had no extra people to stand guard over him. So, belly down in the spring-time thawing muck, I cuffed his right ankle to his left wrist, ... Behind him. All he could do was squelch and glower.
I did get to mop out a few grungy places, but also earned some points for ingenuity and simple gall.
