Methos (one half of the HHH Management) Posted Mar 20, 2004
A show for Spike? I'm all for it!
I watched "The Talented Mr. Ripley" yesterday. Well, I had scene the first hozur of the movie before but then turned it off after Dickie died. Tom Ripley does nothing for me. So boring, so stupid. But then I found the one thing making the last part of the movie watchable - Jack Davenport!
Don't you agree, that he could have apperaed in the "Pirates of the Carribean" under his own name? Davenport...
Anyway, I will be away for a week. Watching men in tights at the Figure Skating World Championships. I'll be back on Monday.
Have fun and for me, too.

ohhh I just got a parcel of Jelly Bellys and Swiss Miss from a friend of mine, and on the top... -boy.
Unfortunately not the real one.
~drool~
Coniraya Posted Mar 20, 2004
Mmmmmmmmmm Jelly Babies, I bite their heads off first that way you can't hear them scream
What's Swiss Miss?
~drool~
Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 20, 2004
ah, not Jelly Babies... Jelly Belly Jelly Beans.
(But I'm a head biter too) My grandma used to work at Bassett's years and years ago, and she always told people her job was to poke her little finger in their tummies to make belly buttons.
Grannies, eh?
Swiss Miss is a brand of instant hot chocolate. I used to buy it from the PX as a kid - the one with the mini-mini-marshmallows in. Last time my friend sent the French Vanilla version and this time it's caramel. Ah to have contacts.
Unfortunately I stabbed -boy through the nose with my scissors opening the packet.
ho hum.

Leopardskinfynn... sexy mama Posted Mar 20, 2004
Sho - I just found out that the Deppster was filming just 20 miles down the road from me!
Unfortunately I found out too late, so I couldn't go to the town and have a look.
How annoyed am I?!?!?
That's the second time he's been filming in my neck of the woods, and I missed it - I used to live in Essex and I found out that he filmed Sleepy Hollow in Epping Forest after he'd finished from a client of mine who was a cameraman on the film. I badgered him for information on our favourite - he said he liked a good smoke (kept him mellow ) and was a really lovely guy, not a 'luvvey' at all.
Methos - I'm sure I read somewhere (but I can't remember where )that the condition that the WB network made for taking on Angel for this (last?? ) series was that James Marsters was in it. Perhaps they're going to kill Angel off and let Spike have his own show!
He should come back to Europe - it's not like there aren't enough stories and myths here to keep the writers happy.

Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 20, 2004
smoking to keep him mellow? what the heck was he smoking?
(I read an interview once where he said he lives in France because it's one of the last places on the planet where you can smoke just about anywhere)
I'd watch Spike's show... no idea about Buffy, Angel or whatever, but I'd watch him.

Coniraya Posted Mar 20, 2004
Especially if the new tougher, musclier Wes was in it too.

Oooh, I don't know, Sho, some of the crew with their dreads were rather gorgeous on the Unicorn It started to rain heavily on the return and I didn't get a chance to take any more photos. But H took quite a bit of digital video footage, so if he got any of them, I'll take a still image and post it on yahoo.

Sho - employed again! Posted Mar 20, 2004
oh yes please! I'm a sucker for dreads.
I've just watched The Guru on Sky Movies. What a laugh. I love those Bollywood films anyway, and this was just a great cross between those and a western love story. Really hilarious, and some nice eye candy.
And my Slashy Heart beat a whole lot faster at the end - it's not often we get two guys kissing on TV and I've seen two lots this week (don't ask why I watched 20 minutes of Footballer's Wives early on in the week)

moving briefly away from and . was rugby afternoon today (yes, am obsessed)
very sexy Mr Cohen scored twice And new fly-half is very cute.

Coniraya Posted Mar 21, 2004
H went to Twickers to watch the match, he asked me if I wanted the other ticket, but I'm afraid it just doesn't appeal to me at all. He took a friend of ours who plays rugby and is mad keen and has never been to Twickers.
We watched Murder in Suburbia last night, on ITV1, the main characters are two women detectives and it was really rather good. H was ing over the girlies and I rather liked the DCI, played by Jeremy/Jonathan South/Southern, I could go and look up the name, but can't be bothered

I'm always partial to a fly-half!
I saw the last few minutes of the Rugby version of The Weakest Link. That Scottish chappie, Simon something, was a bit of lovely lovely cheekbones and a very cheeky grin.
I miss the Man-Mountain Martin Johnson though. Rugby isn't the same without him. And I sigh for the old days of Rob Andrew in his prime and Jeremy Guscott and Tony Underwood. Ah the good ol' days

Rugby players do nothing for me
Watching men in tights at the Figure Skating World Championships - now that's more like it. Go, Methos!for me!
I'll have to search my digital channels & see if I can find it, if only I knew what Methos looked like I'd search for her in the crowd
Probably the one with the in her lap to catch the
We should start a campaign for Spiketo get his own show. I've seen a DVD in Tesco's "The Best of Spike" and I'm dropping BIG hints to my daughter for my birthday

oh yes Mothers' Day. Well, in the UK at least. The rest of us have to wait until May.
Off to do some work in the garden, then I'm off to write a naughty SG-1 fic. I'm in that sort of mood!!!

I'll have that link, when you're done, Sho
Thanks for the holiday pics Caerwynn, I enjoyed them and it's nice to dream.
I did wonder what the fellow bending over at "Diamond Falls" is doing, and why you took a picture of his butt.
Or was that just for us girlies in the thread?

I hadn't noticed that until later, GB, he was gardening, the area is a botanical garden. As we arrived the heavens opened and we were treated to a tropical downpour, so I just aimed the camera and clicked, the usual touristy thing is to take a shower under the falls, but I didn't need to.

You can call me TC Posted Mar 23, 2004
An old friend of mine lives and works in Barbados and I would love to go and visit him. But I don't think we'll ever get to go there. It's not so much the Caribbean, as seeing the OF again. He was never actually a boyfriend as such, but a boyfriend's best friend, and I always liked him better.
Figure skating wouldn't be a bad alternative though. Some of those Russian guys are sooo beautiful.
