Can I ask why you chose to keep dullness? I mean, I appreciate it and all, but....why would you want it??

Well, I'm so good at it (being dull, that is), so I thought I'd help everyone else get rid of it, as I'm dull anyway...
So if you have any excess dullness in you feel should unload, just leave it here, and I'll take good care of it!

I keep my thingummies and oojamerflips in the cupboard...either that or in the kitchen drawer...the wotsits I eat. Can't have them lying around!

I could get you a box like this, or a larger one, if this doesn't suffice, to keep your thingummies and oojamerflips in. The wotsits you of course have to eat. It'd be a nightmare to have _them_ lying around... phew!

Noticed on your page that you sing in a band. So do I! What kind of music you play? You write lyrics, music, both or none of the above?

We play indie/rock type stuff, all original, and I write the lyrics and melodies, the rest is up to the boys.

Well, we're lacking a bass-player and guitarist, but my guess is we're gonna land in the land() of indierock. We have so different influences (I'm a huge fan of Pixies, Placebo, Kent, Puressence, DMB; the guitaris loves Genesis, Eric Clapton and Gary Moore, and our drummer is a die-hard death metal fan, who alse loves drum'n'bass. go figure...) that at least I think we're gonna be pretty inventive. I write the lyrics, and me and the guitarist collaborate on the melodies.

Cool...I'd love to hear how THAT mixture comes out!!! Where abouts are you, cos I know loads of guitarists!! It was the drummer we short on, for OVER A YEAR but we've got a gig in a month...Yippee!

it isn't really the guitarist that's the problem, there's loads of them, we just need to find the right one. Now, bass-player, there's a problem!

In most such cases, it's a problem of mixed expectancies, right? I mean, there's no such thing as /good enough/, it's all a matter of you want, and what you're expecting. I mean, if the guys I play with expect me to sing like, say the guy in Puressence and write lyrics like Joacim Berg of Kent, then sure, I wouldn't be good enough. But they know what they get, so we build the music around that. Besides, I wouldn't even want too be able to do any of that, coz then I would only be a mere copycat, and I know I'm more than that!
