Actually, I'm just about to sell the Ford, as I've bought myself a Mazda MX-5 or Miata as it's known in the US. Getting it after w*rk tomorrow!

i work for mallinckrodt (which is now tyco/mallinckrodt)
most any kind of music- right now it's 80's pop, but i also listen to 70's & 80's rock, current alternative, classical, swing, big band, top 40, some country (very little), and some oldies (50's & 60's). my collection runs the gamut from ac/dc and nine inch nails to pachelbel and tchaichovsky to depeche mode and george michael, and my two absolute favorites are journey and weird al yankovic. did i miss anything?
my sofa is gold velour, with dark hardwood accents (very 60's and very third- or fourth-hand
my kitty is long-haired black and white with green eyes, and he's *big*.

does any of that mesh?

congrat's on the new ride . aren't new cars exciting! i've always thought if i ever got a non-ford i'd get a volvo, but at this point i can't see myself not driving a truck, so i'll stick with what i've got for now. i'm not due for a new one till next april, and i'll probably get another truck, just in a different color.

Thanks! Yes, it's as convertible as it gets! It's black metallic with beige top and beige leatherinterior... I'm kinda floating on a cloud these days, as I've been drooling on my friends MX-5 for about two years now...

pixies were a little before my time, i think, no, i'm not that young, i was just listening to other things at the time and missed them. i've probably heard some of their stuff and not known what it was... weren't they big (or as big as they got, anyway) in the 80s?

nice, on the car, that is take a top down cruise for me when the weather permits, my sister sold her convertible about two years ago and now i can't even borrow one for the afternoon . but that's okay because i've got a truck

They were as big as a true indie-rockband could be in the age of synths and drummachines... Major inspiration for the wave of seattle-grunge, thought it isn't very similar music. Much more explosive, energetic, ecstatic, and a hole bunch of other fine words starting with an e... Hits included "Here comes your man", "Monkey gone to heaven", "Levitate me" and a hole bunch of others!

Will do! You'll have to take an offroad-ride for me then, the Mazda isn't exactly well-equipped for a day in the woods...

i know i probably didn't ask, but you never told me what color your sofa or your cat are.

well, one sofa is an incredibly ugly green with yellow and brown stripes, the other originally has this kind of flowery pattern with a dark blue background colour, but I've bought a black synthetic "fur" for that one. My cat is black, white and brown. she's the cutest little cat in Norway, I'm sure!

i wonder where the ugly green sofa company warehouse is? i think everybody has an ugly green sofa at some point, they must all come from the same ugly green sofa black hole

while i was visiting my friend this weekend i saw the most beautiful cat, it was my friend's roommate's cat, it was a huge black and brown long haired tabby... my parents have one nearly like it only theirs has white too.

I've had two, even...three actually!
Hmmm... Guess the mentioned warehouse and production facilities must be nearby... A full investigation will be started, and the guilty parties _will_ be prosecuted! I'm gonna get to the bottom of this!

if it were geographically possible i would invite you to the 'ugly green couch bonfire' that my ex is having this summer.
