Are any other researchers doing work units for seti@home? If not, why not? If anyone would like to join in, but doesn't know how, please ask me, or join in this forum. I will keep popping in. The more people who help, the quicker we will find "life" {maybe not as we know it}.....currently there are over 2 million people doing these units. It costs nothing, not even your time, as it runs on the screen-saver when you are not using your pc! When you have finished a unit, you just log on and send, it's as simple as that. And just imagine the publicity, if it's one of YOUR units which finds the first proof of E.T.I.

Sorry fellow Researchers.......I have found the seti team and joined it. Looking forward to finding other intelligent beings who may inhabit our galaxy or beyond

You've got some competition. I've just been home for a too brief leave and found the younger son is running the same programme. Every time I looked at it there seemed to be more dark pink bits than anything else so is intelligent life pink do you think?

24 and a half and a good part of his upbringing is down to his elder brother (Duncan Jones -Spearcarrier) their father having left 24 years ago.

Wow, I feel like I already know your family, I have had conversations with Spearcarrier! My commissorations on raising children alone, I am on my second stint. I had 3 children during my marriage, got divorced,and still have the younger one at home {he's 16}, then I went and {rather sillyly} had another baby at the age of 37, to someone whose name I won't soil your eyes with, suffice to say, once I saw what was happening in my family, I took steps to remedy the situation, and am now raising Andrew {who is now 7} alone. I count my blessings though...I have 4 gorgeous kids, a beautiful grandson, my health, my elderly parents still well and about to celebrate 59 years of marriage, and I have a pc & internet access
