Hi there Mac... ~grin~... thanks for turning up at the dinner party... how long have you been around h2g2... not that long looking at your user number... and no ACE greeted you... sorry about that...
So here's an official welcome...
Welcome to h2g2 Mac... if you do have any questions... then don't hesitate to ask... any ACE... or indeed any researcher here at the guide will try to help you out... we are really a quite nice bunch of people you know...

Greetings from Cheerful Dragon, poster of dreadful jokes.
I'm glad your mum enjoyed the last batch - there's a new one there. I assume you have the same products and commercials in Ireland as we do in Britain. If so, I'll post another one about Fairy washing-up liquid. Alternatively, there's one that's sort of connected with Mary Poppins. That's all I can say without giving things away.
How did your exams go? Your revision strategy sounded like a good one. The human brain has a (normal) attention span of 30-40 minutes, so studying for half-an-hour, taking a break and moving on to something else *should* work. My revision strategy is generally non-existent - do nothing until a week or two before the exam, then panic and cram as much in as I can. I haven't failed anything, but my grades weren't always as good as they could have been. Still, my exam days are behind me, and I'm NOT studying anything else that requires exams EVER!
That's all I can think of, so TTFN!
