Don't meddle
Life is always fun when you frequently get mild depressions. It's even more so when you can feel it coming on a few days before it actually does.
So the first time it happened this year, I decided to stop it before it started. It always started with a feeling of having to do something and not knowing what, so I tried new things; reading, fencing, all sorts.
As a result, I often ran into a girl in my school year I'd never really talked to before. I then managed to get a crush on her at the same time as she began to go out with someone else. The resulting depression ended up being even worse than usual, and they started happening more often after that.
Funny how these things turn out, isn't it?
