Hello from Alex
Hello! My name's Alex Wilcock, and I've not thought much about what to put here yet. But it'd be rude not to put *something*, wouldn't it, if you're kind enough to click here?Personal Details:
I was born in Stockport, North-West England on 30th October 1971, though I'm half-Scottish and half-American. For the last ten years I've been living 'down South'; for the last five, living with my lovely partner Richard on the Isle of Dogs, East London. That's the sort of loop bit that hangs down on the Thames in the Eastenders credits, by the way, and we look out at the Millennium Dome from our balcony.More interesting things ;-)
Richard and I met, funnily enough, through a gay Doctor Who group, the Sisterhood of Karn. Perhaps I should write an entry on them. My major interests after Richard would be Doctor Who, The Avengers and Liberal Democrat politics. For my sins, I'm on the Federal Policy Committee of the party (which means I help on the manifesto and things). I'm also rather fond of food, and - as a counterbalance - of swimming (nude, of course). Between us we have far too many books and videos and things (a couple of thousand of each in a small flat), and hope soon to have far too many DVDs... And at some point I'll have a think about what else to put!Conversations

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
