Strokes really are extraordinary.
Especially strokes in/on/of the brain.
I have had one/several in my temporal lobe. Rather a disagreeable one to have because one forgets who one is.
However, up to now I have fortunately remembered who I am. I attribute this entirely to the fadt that on this wonderful site someone once gave a link to a game. i found it, and i chose to play it straight after my stroke several years ago. I have now turned 83 on the 23rd of May, 2011, and I am still alive. I have had a few scares when i thought
"Ah ha!! This is it."
I do my deep breathing, drink lots of a certain French bottled water take absolutely no pain killers for my horrid psoriatic arthritis and come to. One thing which has always escaped me though was retriving my space/Journal. . Well this time I have so I hope that I shall be able to contact my friends again.
My eyes though, have macular degeneration which makes seeing/proof reading quite difficult. I hope to be able to employ a secretary, but wuntil I manage to find one please forgive the typo errors. sted
Wuth much affection as always

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
