Pelicans
Quite possible the single most intelligent life form on the Earth, This waterfowl is known for its cunning ways, and obvious deceitfulness, as it can stand there looking quite stupid for quite a long time. ( ah! the depths of deception this wily bird will sink to!).
Modern Chaosiphers consider pelicans to be one of the fabled missing elements, I.E. Pelicaniuim. et. al. whereupon, this element exists only in the form of "micro-pelicans.. with sheeting action" this has led scientists to beleive that Pelicans are an integral part of the dishwasher add-in cult.. but this is further refuted, as very few people actually seem to want their dishes coated in pelicans.
If encountering a rampaging pelican, offers of succulent little fishy-bits will suffice, or failing that, the old " what's that over there!?!" trick, also works quite well.
Rumors of Pelicans being trained by elite commando forces, and taken to the far east for martial training has been leaked into thjepool of pelican lore. While the Government denies any commando-pelican training, we have strong proof from our contact in the assasin/Ninja sub-culture (Lee VanCleef) that a few pelicans had indeed been taken into the hidden shrines and temples to be trained in the deadly arts. Sadly, deadly they may be, theyre still easily defeated by the methods described above.
