About Me
Life is an interesting journey with many twists and turns, and it's how we negotiate these developments that makes us the people we are.
I have been journeying on for more than half a century, mostly with my lovely partner (whose name means "Wanderer"). I've taken my share (or more?) of wrong turns, but my Guide has always managed to get me back on the right path.
I am deeply interested, both privately and professionally, in human spiritual and emotional development. Those who have influenced me most are Thomas A Kempis, C.S.Lewis, Julian of Norwich, John of the Cross, Eugene Peterson, John Bunyan and George Muller. Many others, both living and deceased, have contributed to my spiritual formation. Some of these seem very unlikely. "Star Trek" has had a profound influence on my life, so has "Doctor Who", Douglas Adams, J.R.R.Tolkien and Richard Adams; all of which goes to show what a strange person I am.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
