I am, of course, totally unofficial in my capacity of Telling People What's Going On, but I'm gonna attempt to make some sense of what's happening.

Hi. I saw you'd posted over at Peta's page, asking about when your submission was going to get looked at, and her answer was--well, vague is about right. The queue of articles is still backlogged a bit more than two weeks, so you may have to wait a few more to get someone looking at it. There is a new crop of sub-editors working hard at mowing through the stack, as well as the old stalwarts plugging on, so hopefully two weeks, very shortly, is going to seem like a REALLY long time. But for now, I couldn't even begin to estimate how long it'll take. Peta may be able to get back to you with a better date estimate, but I dunno.

Hey, thanx a lot Spartus, it's nice to know that there is somebody who cares. I'm pretty patient, but I like to at least have an idea as to why I'm waiting. If the rest of the world were as friendly as H2G2, it would be a HELL of a lot better place! Keep up the good work, and set an example for all the slackers out there!!
