Sackville
In New Brunswick, a town not of sacks,
but of ships, all now long sunken.
In Nova Scotia, something else.
But two Sackvilles exist in what too few call
"the nation of Canada,"
and what too many don't call
"over there."
We are the smallest second biggest counry in the world.
I also believe,
like an American Springsteen,
and a Ghandi like Mohatma,
that it is the centre of the Universe.
The centre of the [ removed by moderation ] Universe.
Dense, motionless and immoveable,
like a foundation, like a home.
Long live the town of bags,
the land of sacks;
long live and bless.
Do you see,
shallow Budhists,
unaware meditators?
Do you see too,
poor bankers,
rich paupers and lowly priests?
Do you see,
do you see,
do you see?
IT IS HOME.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
