Mine too. The first time, the cat uses the opportunity to slip past me in my half-dazed state, and after that, it's caused by the cat sitting on my bladder

i was discussing it with a friend a few days back. in the daytime he has to climb the stairs whenever he needs to get to the loo, but at night he sleeps on the same floor
i on the other hand sleep on the first floor while my loo is on the ground floor
but i told him 'i know my house so well i don't turn on the light at night so as no to wake up more than necessary'
he answered 'oh, i turn on the light - but i keep my eyes closed'

Good plan - then when he trips and opens his eyes at the last moment, he can at least see what he's going to land on!
We have bathrooms on both floors here, but since every single room is on a different level (old house) it does involve quite a few steps anyway My grandmother once broke her foot on the way to the loo in the night

She's back in America, so it'd be a bit of travel to get there
But you're welcome to come here and scold the naughty step

Don't their watch chains get stuck between your teeth? Or do you peel them first?

we will have to adjust to the american way. we used to have all hallows and all saints back in catholic times, but never got around to trick or treat
not untill now, that is. some people here believe they can make a profit out of adopting the american tradition

oooh, i remember that!
i wasn't allowed to take part in it, though - it was a german tradition, not a danish one
