I think when I watched scenes from their films, I wasn't prepared for their sort of humour. I just went and did something else instead of watching TV.

I have the TV mini sseries on DVD.
I didn't like the movie much.

I've got the 7" sung by Marvin and the LP of the restaurant.
The TV-series I watched sometime in the mid-80s I guess, but I haven't seen the movie. I just know that I don't like the look of the new Marvin

Yes, but as if the look of the new Marvin wasn't bad enough, the movie was sooooo different from the original series. My husband even fell asleep in the cinema. 
It was the afternoon show.

Oh well, even the books were different from the original radio series. I don't know the movie so I can't really say anything about it, but if it's not self-contradictory it might not be too bad...
