Eskie & I certainly know where our towels are 8-)
Eskie cohabits my small section of the Galaxy with me. She sits on my lap as I type and tells me if I've done something stupid.(Which is very often :-( )And sits on my shoulder when I prepare our nutrition cubes.
I've been told that an Eskie is a cool box in Aussie speak, and so I could be Eskiesmum in Aussie too as it must be nice to be mum to something cool ;-)
I must confess that I'm nearly a silver surfer, so if any other h2g2 nuts are silver surfers I'd love to chat sometime. (I think) You hear such terrible stories about people meeting on the net. In fact that actually happened to me, although it wasn't terrible just uncomfortable.
I was contacted by someone in San Fransisco who had my Christian name as her surname. We emailed each other for a time and gradually I discovered that I didn't like her and so I stopped contacting her. It was a little difficult for a while but now she leaves me alone.
Anyway, I've learnt my lesson, and try to keep things a little more distant. Hey there are some strange dudes out there in the galaxy which makes life all the more interesting.
