I've really gone eco I don't use plastic straws, I have a collapsable one on my keyring that I use in McDonalds, I have metal knife and fork in my bag so I don't have to use plastic ones eating a supermarket salad, I have a silicon water bottle that I can refil at water fountains. I knit my dishcloths so I don't have to use j cloths. It's my little bit to save the planet

Exactly, although some supermarkets are trying to cut down on plastic. Sainsbury do reuseable cloth bags for their fruit and veg, Morrisons to paper ones for theirs, everyone I see going into a supermarket has their own bags, I have 2 fold up ones in my handbag so I never have to get a carrier anywhere. We have an eco shop in the high street, a place you can buy flour, vinager, cornflakes coffee tea etc buy the lb no plastic containers

About 5 years after us, unfortunately the Chinese people are used to being told what to think, if the government says it's not a problem, then it's not a problem, people don't speak out, for fear of being arrested
