Some learn by their mistakes and some don't, as "we" have learnt talking with some here and found the odd bad apple

Thank you anyway, now I have to sober up and get going. It was the staff xmas meal last night. I had Stilton and Mushroom Wellington which was really nice, I'm not turning Veggie, I'm not fond of Turkey and I fancied something different. I didn't disgrace myself either which was nice

I don't think I've got any superstitious things I carry out apart from doing a tarot reading every day

I don't believe in superstition as such, because it's all down to historic events etc - like No13 = last supper lot.
To me! good luck or bad luck smiley - laugh can't be defined as rational, but then again smiley - biggrinsome have it some don't etc - trust me to get the bad bit smiley - roflsmiley - laugh.

But as in tarot cards and those sort of things, I keep an open mindsmiley - smiley
Many years ago when I repaired tv's, I got a "job card" for one and the other engineer said that this guy(a Eastern european) will ask you to pick your favourite colours from a "paint chart thing" and he'll tell your fortune from what you choosesmiley - smiley Got to the house, repaired the tv and yep! he did what my mate said. I gave no clues whatsoever during choosing my colours - BUT! he was 90% spot on with what he said about me etc smiley - erm I was agog! He then said that as the "paint slides" were of a small number 20 or so ? - given a larger number of colours, he could give a deeper reading - I believed him, but of course didn't have the time

That sounds facinating, I've never heard of fortune telling with colours but if it works don't knock it.

Thinking in esoteric circles is, that we are all born psychic, but depending on how it's nurtured is if we keep it or not. As a child we're always being told "There's no such thing as fairies" "There are no monsters under the bed". When you're being told, the things you're seeing aren't real you stop seeing them and your Psychic powers fade, unless you can find them again when you grow up

years ago, a lady who the "ex" called aunty (a family friend as you do as a kid)
the ex told me she could talk with the dead and on the occasions we visited her, she would say stuff like - yes! you told me that before - as in a conversation with someone - but looking at no one.
She told me (when ex was out of the room) that "they'd told her" - that I had a "connection in me) and one day, it could come out - so far nothing. BUT! in my youth I did have a déjà vu event, that mam and dad COULD not explain - I was about 8yrs old

I got that many years ago, we were in Yorkshire of all places, at Bolton Abby and I could have sworn I'd been there before, it was really weird. The weirdest place I've ever been is Glastonbury, I had the creeps all day, it felt like a weight was on my heand, squashing me down, I was really glad to leave, I've never been back

when 8yrs, we were on holiday in Polperro - Cornwall and mam said to dad, she wanted to look out for a particular present for a friend of herssmiley - smileyI said there's one in the shop window round the corner - mam/dad looked puzzled smiley - erm we'd NEVER been there before, so how did I know there was a shop nearby ?
Anyway, we rounded a corner just up the road AND the first shop, in the middle of it's window smiley - doh was the gift mam wanted - They both said "HOW did he know that ???"

plus! smiley - smileyabout 4 maybe 5 yr back, I had a "dream" of 3 numbers for the Irish lott' and they came up smiley - smileyI'd backed them firstsmiley - laugh
