Scientists, Astronomer’s etc say there are more Galaxies in the universe, than there are grains of sand on every beach on the planet Earth added together, not counting deserts and arid places etc.
That is a figure that is nearly impossible to imagine, whether to “see” it as a number or as a visual image.
But! I’ll bet that “mankind” has more questions and unanswerable answers tenfold to that.
And whereas in The Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy – the Deep Thought episode, of 7.5 million years and then 10 million years, for the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything “was going to be answered”
I reckon that no matter how long mankind lives/exists or where (in the universe)
The same amount of questions WILL remain unanswered!

Excellent point! Yes, there are things such as A422010 Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem that indicate for every question that humans answer, there will be another question that is unanswered...

it does not answer the question, but "asks" for another answer and keep repeating that "why" and the person your saying it to will eventually lose his or hers temper smiley - laugh

I dare anyone smiley - whistle to try the same on a supercomputer smiley - laughit'll blow a fuse

Yeah prof the questions in science are not really 'why' but rather 'how' … and as you say we're never going to get to the bottom, but it's fun what strange things turn up along the way.

as each human generation comes along and the advent of computer techno keeps on expanding, mankind's "brain power" will not evolve fast enough to keep pace

"We" As humans can now understand and to a degree, "visualise" distances regarding "space and the universe"
But "our minds cannot still comprehend the enormity of "space" that exists FAR beyond what any form of telescope etc can see ? either galaxies/stars etc from way in our past, to what is actually out there..at the present moment in "our" time
