Interesting! But the link back to your homepage didn't seem to work.
As for what to do with the turkey thigh: Cut a few cloves of garlic into thin slivers. Usining a thin, sharp knif, make small slits in the turkey, and push a piece of garlic into each. Then sprinkle the turkey with salt, and roast (with the option of extra garlic, still in its skin).
Once roasted, the turkey skin should be good and crispy - suitable for eating on its own. The meat can be used for absolutely anything - stews, casseroles, curries, tortillas, etc....
Those who took the option of extra garlic should find that roasting it has sweetened and softed it. Absolutely gorgeous when served with the cold turkey in a sandwich.

My washing up technique (at uni) is this... leave everything till the last day of term. Then the cleaner has to do it!

Nice idea but I'm not sure that our cleaner would be overly impressed by that one!

I didn't expect it, either. I have a jug, and some kind person put fat in it... I operated on the "ignore it and it will go away" principle... I thought its owner may want it... anyway, the cleaner washed it all out at the end of term when no-one had done anything about it.

Give your cleaner my address and phone number and tell him/her that we are in desperate need of a half descent cleaner because our's either watches our television whilst reading the newspaper, talks as loudly as possible to her friend (who also does nothing) so that we all wake up at 9am, steals our toilet rolls, or does all three! We've got the cleaner from hell at Edge Hill Uni! It'd make a good documentary I think!
