The 4th Cyclist of the Apocalypse

Thanks for the 'young' reference. It makes me feel a whole lot younger! Do you remember Pigeon Street (hope I've spelled it correctly)? I absolutely loved that and I've still got it at home somewhere on video. My Mum used to record stuff and I watched it when I was ill. Good thinking Mum!

I'm trying to remember some of the characters in Pigeon Street, but off hand the only one that springs to mind is "Long Distance Clara" who drives a truck.
There's an entry of Children's TV Programmmes somewhere in the guide but off hand i can't remember where I saw it. I'll have a look around later

Come to think of it I have totally forgotten the names of the characters. I can remember faces but not names. Now you've said it I do recall Long Distance Clara (I can remember the song that went with her aswell). I tried to look for a Pigeon Street web page on the net last night but didn't come up with anything. If you find something let me know.

Also I do remember Button Moon and the song (bet you didn't know I had a musical side to me did you?), it went something like:
"We've gone to Button Moon,
We followed Mr. Spoon,
Button Moon, Button Moon."

I am willing to bet a lifetimes supply of danish whirls that you don't remember who wrote the theme song.
(For everyone that doesn't know, Deano has many weaknesses. Superman has Kryptonite, she has Parker Bradburn Danish Whirls)

No, he means me. I'm the one he's betting and I'm the one who just lost the bet because I don't know either. So then Curry Boy, who did write it?

The answer to that one is the star of both All Creatures Great and Small, Doctor Who, and of course Button Moon.
I am of course referring to Peter Davison.
Oh dear, looks like you don't get those danish whirls.
Please don't call me curry boy.

I think the correct lyrics (off the top of my head) were:
"You must have seen the movie,
You must have read the book.
He's a mellow, yellow, feline so take a second look.
He knows everything about nothing and not too much about that.
So if you know someone who knows what he knows,
Then you must know Henry's cat.
You must know Henry's cat."

Take a look at a couple of the links on my home page - they sound right up your street! They're a little way down, but worth working through the rest of the page for.

Cheers for the advice! I've had a very quick look but I've not really got time to view the sites properly because I've got to read a book for my really big seminar presentation. As soon as I get chance I'll be back to look properly. Thanks!!!
