Accuracy of How to Ride a Motorcycle

Hi All.
I have just read the article posted by badzen. I was actually looking on the web for data on counter steering after reading through the UK police Roadcraft manual. I was rather concerned by the inaccuracies or at least half truths in the sections of the article on cornering and braking - they directly contradict much of the advice given by professionals in the UK.
It is my concern that this article is read by inexperienced riders who will accept the content as the gospel truth - which it is not.
I would request that badzen undertakes oone of the following :
Modifies the article so that it agrees with cpnventional roadcraft wisdom OR
Removes the article OR
Makes clear statements that the opinions expressed are his own and do not agree with conventional wisdom.

It may be that many of the recommendations may just about be acceptable where he is located but in urban riding, many of the suggested practises can only be described as lethal.

Sorry to be a killjoy.

Regards
litteloldbiker
