Is it as hot in Brisbane as it is here in Pretoria? When I'm not riding Candy, I seem to spend my leave days in my swimming shorts, drinking cold lagers. It's a tough life in the South, hey?

Not too warm here - about 28c at the moment - we get some pretty amazing lightning storms in Brisbane at this time of year, but it's nice and sunny right now. Doesn't get as warm and humid here as it does up north, thankfully.

We sit in the high 20's on most days, sometimes into the early thirties. Thunderstorms are very common in the late afternoon or evening, often lasting into the early hours of morning. At times we also have marvelous lightning storms and I curl up in bed with the curtains open and enjoy!
