Home wouldn't be somewhere in the bluegrass State, would it.
Hi, what a nice name you have. There are so many depressingly negative names to be read in the 'Who's Online', it's enough to make a person give up the idea of paying a friendly visit, and get into a good book instead.

Thankyou John and judging by your name you'll appreciate these which I grew myself. Sorry its taken so long to reply but I've been away.

Hi. Thanks for the flower. Himalayan poppy, isn't it? a little bit of Tibet.
Well, the garden at home has to look after itself (remember the cobblers kids?). We have a sunken garden surrounded by tall grasses and a hodgepodge of perennials, so that my wife and I can hide from the neighbours. I work for a municipal parks department on the shore of Lake Ontario, where I try to get away from the traditional beds of petunias and geraniums . I grow lots of buddleia for the butterflies; and, recently, I have been experimenting with herbs, just for fun.
