In the United States...Washington state, to be precise. Which is rather more convenient for our host than for you, I believe, but you're welcome to visit as well.

Bluebottle Posted Dec 9, 1999
As much as I'd love to, I'm afraid I cannot... Unless you're offering to pay for my travel...?

Researcher 93445 Posted Dec 9, 1999
Sorry, not this week, I'm afraid. You'll just have to settle for virtual visits.
cold winters
Bluebottle Posted Dec 9, 1999
Oh, and you'll have to settle for me virtually digging your hole.

Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Dec 10, 1999
Now you're talkin'.
Virtually.
Bluebottle, when did you mutate into a cheap Brighton hotel?
Lil

Bluebottle Posted Dec 10, 1999
That was a temporary thing, as I've got a new logo of
<BB<
Which Lisa The Freak said made me look like the signpost to a cheap Brighton hotel. I'm a Jack of Clubs now, because their are far too many ACEs in this pack. I think someone's cheating at cards.

Nice one.
I'll check out your home page in a minute.
As for all the ACEs and PRs and things, I'll settle for being Duchess of Data. Who runs the Honours List around here?

can I be
" slightly influencial induvidual over all things that float "?
If WE start passing out honorifics this place will start to look like the DNRC wich may not be a bad thing.

I have a good friend who is going to school here with me that spent several years working the fishing boats, he has lots of intresting stories to tell, but he also lost two friends.

dangerous occupations
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Dec 14, 1999
oh yeah, coal mining was in the top 5
Let's see, there's framing skyscrapers, those guys who walk around on iron beams 70 stories in the air: if no-one is killed in the putting up of a skyscraper, they affix an evergreen tree to the top of the frame.
Test pilots
aircraft carrier deck crew
smoke jumpers/fire fighters
Coast Guard rescue
SWAT
*thinks* I can't remember the others offhand. That is, I don't recollect whether astronauts were a separate category from test pilots.
Nice pictures! Are you in number two picture?

Hey there,
I saw a post in Forum & Frinkin (I think), in which you asked for a 'Who's On' thingy.
I didn't see one on your page, so cut and paste this:
<!--
function popusers(link) {
popupWin = window.open(link, 'popusers', 'status=1,resizable=1,scrollbars=1,width=165,height=340');
}
// -->
Who's on
It was a gift from Vegiman.
Oh, I wanted a badge, too. I was too late for the "ACE" , saw Blubottle's (Jack of Clubs) and the rest is in the signiture.
After all, she's a 'Luna'-tic, too.

I admit I was really stupid and half asleep last night - I spent about 15 minutes going from forum to forum searching for the code - when all I had to do was click "edit page" and get the code from there. Doh! I feel really stupid - I realised as soon as I woke up this morning.
Love your "Queen of Hearts" Luna - Have you seen Peet's name? Something like "Peet (That card with the rules of Cribbage you keep accidentally shuffling into the pack)"

loved that one!
The code is in another forum on my Discuss list. Lunasea, I think.
Along with a link to Vegiman's page.
