Have you tried the melody search? I've just stumbled upon it. And it doesn't work terribly well. I picked out the melody to Beethoven's 9th, which is usually called 'Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee', and it gave me many different tunes - but not that one. smiley - laugh

The melody search is fascinating - I see from the metadata that it measures how similar two sets of notes are by measuring them each against a third set of notes (one of 10 samples). The search might be faster than if a more sophisticated algorithm were used, but it's definitely rough! smiley - laugh
