Excellent to see this in Peer Review smiley - ok

That's good that it is entertaining and educational about druids, but that is a shame that the film ends as it began rather than seizing the opportunity to value Pectin's abilities...

I'm just reading this again with an eye to checking it works as a standalone Entry as well as an Entry within the Project smiley - ok

"Set in 50 BC, this film is an all-new story and features many new characters. Despite this it fully retains the spirit of Asterix." - 'all-new' means it is not based on a book by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. 'the spirit of Asterix' is the spirit of the original books?

In the Bashing the Romans section Mikros Animation is described in two different ways, so you might like to check that.

"Dogmatix accompanies Asterix and Obelix on their adventures, just like in Asterix And Cleopatra, Asterix Versus Cæsar, Asterix In Britain and Asterix Conquers America, though disappointingly he plays no role." - 'plays no role' means he doesn't influence the plot, even though he has a role as companion to Asterix and Obelix?

"Why the druids have a giant sign outside the forest when they are forbidden from writing is never revealed." - they are forbidden to write down their knowledge, but the names of the druids were written down, so they can write as Julius Caesar said?

smiley - ok

I've made some changes to address the points you've mentioned.

It really is a shame about Dogmatix – in 'Asterix and Cleopatra' he saves the day when Asterix, Obelix and Getafix are trapped in a maze inside a pyramid by using his sense of smell to find the way out, in 'Asterix vs Cæsar' he is able to find Asterix's lost magic potion, he uses his sense of smell to find the thief who stole the cart in 'Asterix in Britain', in 'Asterix Conquers America' he helps Asterix and Obelix find Getafix – in this film he doesn't do anything.

Ah, that is a shame that Dogmatix is not often seen while boars and chickens are prominent...

That is fascinating that the film acknowledges some but not all of the writing that takes place when it wasn't permitted in the film's universe! smiley - laughsmiley - huh

Good additional analysis of the attitude to 'girls', too - also fascinating...

"(though Getafix encourages Pectin to break this rule) which could at least be taken to indicate that positive progress is being made" - the closing bracket should be after 'made', I presume.

Excellent smiley - ok

That sentence, on reflection, looked a little long so I've changed it slightly.
