Just to meet Tavaron's point, do oystercatchers occur by freshwater lakes? (I once went bird watching by Lake Neusiedl but I don't remember oystercatchers.)

I added a few more words to mention that Eurasian Oystercatchers do go inland during the summer in the UK. Their range in Europe doesn't extend as far as Austria, though...
