Another good entry. smiley - smiley Though I think I would have difficulty telling the difference between Black-Tailed and Bar-Tailed Godwit!

Yes, there are more differences between those two types, but to an untrained eye the differences are rather subtle! I'm learning slowly but haven't seen many bar tailed godwits this year to do a proper side by side comparison! December/January should be a good time, though, so I'll keep looking out for them smiley - ok

Yes, thanks bob! smiley - ta It is a great photo of two young-ish Black Tailed Godwits that will look superb on the Entry - Titchfield Haven is a great place to see these birds indeed smiley - biggrin
