I've seen one pantomime, and that was enough for me, but this Entry is interesting, as I learned about CBeebies too. Not a channel I watch, although I am overfond of the channels with cartoons and adverts that are close by in the channel list, but I have some knowledge of the presenters so I enjoyed reading more about them.

"The most-watched children's channel in Britain, since 2002 CBeebies has been the BBC's channel aimed at children 6 and under."

This is a sentence dense with information. Is it saying that CBeebies started in 2002, or is it saying that it started earlier with a different remit? I think "The most watched children's channel" needs to be after the definition, so it is clearer what a children's channel is.

"men (usually Justin)" - this sounds a bit strange, as I don't really know who Justin is at this point.

Do you know how tall Andy Day is?

For Cerrie, you could add a link to http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-ouch-24988596 and maybe http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7906507.stm "Terminates" is a bit of a strong word to choose, I think, but I like "excessive focus".

Nice mention of the Broom Cupboard - I remember that well smiley - biggrin

"•Magical Spite (Tree Fu Tom)" - Sprite, I presume...

Fingermouse was in CBeebies Christmas Carol?

"played regular character on The Sarah Jane Adventures " - "a" regular character, or are you going to name the character?

A shame Queen Rat didn't get credit... Glad the Nutcracker was still entertaining for your children, though.

Nice Entry smiley - applausesmiley - biggrin

Thanks for your comments – when you said 'I've seen one pantomime' do you mean one CBeebies panto, or just one pantomime full stop?

I've made various changes as suggested, so let me know if anything needs more clarification. I'm not sure about adding a link to Cerrie - unless I also added links about the other presenters. From personal experience she is great at appealing to the younger age range and has a very expressive face and voice, which makes her great at reading out stories.

I don't remember choosing to write 'Terminates' – I was writing this at the same time as starting A87883032, so I wonder if that subconsciously affected my word choice? If so, be interesting to see if it happened the other way too… And yes, only a sprite is right and both Fingermouse and Humpty appeared in 'CBeebies Christmas Carol'.

I've done some digging and it appears that Queen Mouse was played by Laura Jones of the Stop Gap Dance Company. The credits in general for the pantos aren't very comprehensive

I've seen one pantomime full stop. The best bit was when our headteacher was selected to go on stage to be ridiculed, but apart from that I was consumed with embarrassment... smiley - flustered So much so I can't remember what the pantomime was, but I was glad when it finished...

Excellent tweak to the opening paragraph - reads clearly now smiley - ok

smiley - laugh I did wonder if The Terminator had influenced your word choice there smiley - ok I didn't notice anything particular in the other Entry, though, like "I'll be Back" (oh no he won't, oh yes he will).

I wondered if a link on "excessive focus" might be helpful... I remember when the debate happened, as I followed the discussions on Ouch at the time - the interview with Cerrie is very good.

smiley - ok

Link now added. smiley - ok
I remember the discussion as well, and thinking how daft it was. Neither of my two were phased at any point. I've not met her in real life, but how anyone can consider her to be 'scary' is beyond belief as she seems such a natural children's presenter. smiley - huh

I added a footnote about Alex – normally I wouldn't promote in such a way, but I did Gung-Ho on Saturday and it was great fun, and Alex took time out to be delightful around all the children present.

Incidentally, I suspect now is probably the time to start thinking about what entries would be good to have on the front page around Christmas.

And I've added a footnote to say that Richard David-Cain has joined the cast of 'Horrible Histories' from series 7 (the new one showing on CBBC on Mondays - well worth watching for all your Horrible Histories needs.)

Incidentally, now is a good time to start planning what entries to have on the Front Page around Christmas...

Just having another quick read of this...

Can I just check the spelling of "•Queen Tutti Fruiti" ? Should it be Frutti?

"•Kerwhizzitor (Himself)" - that looks a bit odd, as we haven't been introduced to Kerwhizzitor yet (and similarly with PC Plum). Maybe either mark their names in bold in the later paragraph, or include the person's full name in the table..?
