I've just been reading up on Heracles' male lovers.

Wow. I note that one of Heracles' lovers was Abderos. Apparently, Herc built the town of Abdera in his honour.

That's a pretty nice honour. Abdera contains my favourite beach in all the world.

I rather think Hercules' Lovers deserves an entry all of its own. What do you say?

I bit the bullet and watched Atlantis last Saturday. I appear to have misjudged Mark Addy's portrayal and am going to rewrite his section to reflect this
