I reckon the Woman would require one husband to take her shopping, and whilst he sleeps, another husband would take her dancing.
This would not necessarily include Meaningful Conversation, so a third husband (with the necessary sensitivity training) would be required.

This piece hasn’t quite turned out like I intended it. It is not supposed to be masculist. The idea behind it was a tongue in cheek piece to point out to “Men” that woman has advanced for the better in the last decades whereas Man has more or less stayed still, and therefore finds it difficult to deal with “Todays Woman”.

The problem is with Man and not woman.

Hmm ...

A couple of other possible theories why Man has a hard time coping with Today's Woman (and why a second husband may not be a viable answer):

1) Man has not progressed because he has reached the pinnacle of evolution, and woman is just catching up.smiley - ok
2) One Man cannot handle a Today's Woman, because Today's Woman is going nuts.smiley - biggrin
3) Woman have developed spending abilities that exceed Man's earning potential.smiley - doh
4) With additional husbands, Today's Woman will have that many more nighttime headaches.smiley - ill
5) Today's Woman is no longer the cook of previous generations, so she is not likely to be able to please them all (and, some of the husbands would starve to death). smiley - sadface
6) Many of Today's Woman would rather have an extra wife on hand than another man with which to cope (fewer headaches, and less cooking).smiley - erm
7) Today's Woman don't like the idea of their men having 'private space'. They would require much larger bedrooms, rather than have them in separate rooms, or would obsess about the husbands talking about them.

I think I'd rather do without completely,

I agree all your points could be considered valid but I am not going to admit it in public.
