Thanks. This was funny and subversive. I think funny stories can be difficult to write but you've managed it here.

I'm pleased that it turned out a funny story vice a mere joke. I think that the key to this was that I had the punchline in my head the whole time, and felt compelled to build upon the tension of absurdity throughout.
