This is hugely entertaining! smiley - biggrin I happen to know a dedicated reader of Louis L'Amour westerns, so I was interested.

I have one tiny suggestion:

>>He can stalk enemies so silently....<<

May I suggest you take out the word 'so'? I was expecting 'so silently, that....'

I like your suggestion about the telephone book. smiley - smiley Western stories seem to give all their heroes British Isles names, don't they? Strong-sounding ones, though. Can you imagine a Sheriff Entwhistle?

Well done you make the books sound interesting, tempted to go out and find one of these to read.

Thank you Dmitri!

I take your point about the 'so' - that has been taken out now.

That's funny - I was just thinking about using the name Entwhistle. I'm sure Rupert Entwhistle would make an extremely fine sheriff, honest smiley - winkeye

The only thing I wondered was: could you give an example of the vernacular dialogue?

smiley - ok

Yes. A sample of dialogue has been added. I also added more about Louis L'Amour.

I like the dialogue, but blush to note that it made perfect sense to me. smiley - blush
