Florida Sailor All is well with the world

You have just entered two very different entries with the exact same name
One should be 'the film'
and the other the 'adventure park'

It will be almost impossible for us to know what comments apply to which entry.

They both look interesting and I will try to comment on each later.

It's funny how the same author put two entries with identical names in Peer Review within seconds of each other on April Fool's Day – it's almost as if it was intentional… smiley - tongueout

I've read through this now smiley - ok

Who is Gregor?

" Kong-like gates" - that is a phrase that is dense with meaning - is it that there are gates somewhere in the film Kong that are similar to these gates?

The first mention of Joe Hazelwood is in a footnote, so I had to read twice when his name was mentioned in the Deacon and the Smokers section - perhaps just mention the Exxon Valdez in that section?

" The atoll could be rotated, which took six hours, "

Is this saying it took six hours to do a complete 360 degree rotation?

The second two paragraphs of the director's quote seem to be duplicating things you've already said in the text, so I don't know if you want to trim anything.

The script doctor was Joss Whedon, I presume.

Amusingly, Footnote 6 about film lengths is truncated in the Pliny pop up box smiley - laugh I don't know whether you could shorten it somehow, but it is probably a problem for other Entries too - at least the text is all there at the bottom of the page smiley - ok

You've not seen 'King Kong'?!?!?!? The classic, amazing, one of the best films of all time 1933 'King Kong'?!?!?
Yes – there are gates in King Kong – Skull Island's local inhabitants have a giant wall to keep all the prehistoric creatures out, along with a giant gate. Why they have a giant gate is unclear, because when Kong smashes through it in one of the film's climactic sequences, they're not very happy. Still, they have a giant gate that is very memorable. The gate later appears in 1939's 'Gone with the Wind' where a giant wall was needed. No, it wasn't used as the Dam that Frank Lee my dear didn't give, nor was it to protect the civilians from Scarlett O'Hara's hooped skirt – actually the studio burned this among other sets to get footage representing Atlanta burning.

It took six hours to do a 180 degree rotation – there'd be little point in spending 6 hours rotating it back to where it was in the first place smiley - winkeye

Still, changes have been made – footnote 6 is still truncated, but now it is Footnote Five so that's progresssmiley - winkeye
