Thank you Sasha! I was wondering whether to link to the auctioneers website - it's very commercial (of course) even on the details of the vampire slaying kit auction sale page, which won't stay online very long post-sale (I think) what do you think?

The BBC link might be better - the post-sale pages seem to be online for about a year, which is quite a while but not very very long.

thanks Sasha, I have added the BBC news link, although I disagree with their description of the kit as being a "vampire hunting kit" - there's nothing in there that would locate a vampire. It has everything to slay a vampire though

Update:

I have found Twitter comments about the vampire hunting box which are denouncing it as fake. I followed some links and found a vampire box for sale at Etsy, it's different and didn't have guns, but much the same contents otherwise. I have tweaked the entry accordingly. As the BBC seems to believe in the authenticity of Bailey's vampire box, I'm inclined to agree, but there are fakes out there that have been created from the 1960s onwards. Caveat Emptor!
