smiley - evilgrin Any time! This is the version that will be in the h2g2 Post in October, where it fits with all the scary Stuff I'm collecting. It's profusely illustrated. And it's a brilliant recipe, a fine addition to the h2g2 repertoire.

It just needs cobbling a bit to fit into the Guide.

The recipe looks very clear, and the illustrations are really helpful, so novice cooks know what they're looking for at each stage smiley - ok

Just one thing I wasn't clear about: "If bottling, fill sterilised glass containers, seal and re-sterilise" - how do you re-sterilise?

Put the filled bottles back into boiling water for five minutes. Probably not necessary but I've always done it, maybe watching my nan bottling pickles years ago.smiley - cheers

Yes, hygiene and sterilising all helps to ensure preserves are preserved smiley - ok (I have seen 'pickles gone bad' when a bottler wasn't quite careful enough smiley - monster)
