Here's a little Entry about a Wonder of the Wirral that I enjoyed visiting recently.

Another enjoyable entry - can I quickly ask where you've said 'The lighthouse was decommissioned in 1908 as a new channel into the Mersey was in the process of being created' - was this created by dredging? Or ships were diverted along a different, previously unused channel?

I assume that the lighthouse wasn't remote and eerie anymore in 1909, when it was a cafe, but before the motorway which you've mentioned as being '21st Century'?
