Last evening, we watched a good television film based on the Loving v Virginia court case, called 'Mr and Mrs Loving'. I've been writing school lessons about it for years, and I thought this might be a good story to share.

Besides, people might want to celebrate Loving Day.

P.S. I am reminded of the couple who said they were kidnapped by aliens, they were an interracial married pair in the early 60s - Betty and Barney Hill - I wrote an entry about their encounter: A87829591 and I adore the image on itsmiley - aliensmile

Thanks, GB! smiley - smiley I remember Betty and Barney Hill very well. And that is a good illustration! It took courage to be them in the 60s - no wonder Betty was able to tell aliens off.

If you're interested, you may be able to find the film 'Mr and Mrs Loving' on your streaming service. It stars a young Timothy Hutton. I was impressed with that film - it was realistic to the time period (and about the couple, not courtrooms).
