I wrote this during the infuriatingly long summer holiday and thought it might fit in here somewhere or other.

Well not about that. Got to be something wrong with the idea of a summer holiday being 'infuriatingly long' though. There's definitely some kind of wrong thinking going on there.

But back to 'Combs, Pomade, and the Meaning of Life' - I thoroughly enjoyed that. Loved the 'Golden-do' phrase and the Hitler bit was another highlight for me.

Thanks a lot; this isn't the kind of thing I'd normally do so I wasn't sure how it'd be recieved.

I suppose my misconceptions about the summer holiday will be quashed when I'm finally ejected into that ever-looming shadow that people like to call 'the real world'.

Blimey! Yes, the real world has this annoying habit of eating up all of the time I would otherwise spend either feeling guilty about doing things that I know I shouldn't or feeling guilty about not doing things that I know I should.

Ho-hum, and all that. I'll probably have more time to kill after my exams, but may have reduced my brain to a runny goo by means of Mathematics before that time.
