Is this at all coherent? I can't tell if it makes sense or not.

It'a coherent. It leaves you asking yourself what she was looking for and what anyone could have given her...I'm not a poet or a critic...yesterday I saw some poetry scrawled on the window of of failed business in downtown Butte, Montana...it gave me a chill and made me wonder...I ennjoyed reading this as well.

That strikes me as both a very odd and very appropriate place to find poetry.

i really liked it, I had seen it a few times and not looked at it, but I did this time and im glad I did, it was great. A well written piece of work. I know its a retorical question what she was looking for, but I thought it could be love (I know im a old romantic at heart)

Could be. Originaly, she was a part of a larger story, but I wrote her out of sequence and never worked her into it. It amazes me that some of my best (and creepiest) writing springs like Athena from my head when I reach the most utter states of boredom. This was written while I was supposed to be researching leperasy (which is less exciting than it sounds. Who knew that having your body rot while you still lived in it could be so agonizingly dull?). I wrote Heroes while folding laundry. I fear I may be mad. Or perhaps I'm inhabited by a strange, creative being which can only take over when I'm my mind is sufficiently dulled...come to think of it, I write well when I'm very tired too...hmm...
