Yeah - I haven't been given any details about what happened on Wednesday, but Tech have managed to fix whatever it was so we're back to the state that we had on Monday/Tuesday

I'm fearful, too, but cautiously optimistic at the same time - Researcher5 hasn't forgotten we exist. Sadly tech troubles are tricky

Another glitch earlier today. All I got was "Don't panic" in the top left hand corner. In Times New Roman (really!?!?) Otherwise a white screen.


I consoled myself with the thought that this might mean that work is in progress. At least it wasn't a 504 error message (Well, not every time)

Were you like me? When you saw "Don't Panic" on a field of white, did it calm you, or did it fill you with dread? I mean, I'm already full of a lot of dread, so it just topped me off really, but still. My first thought was, "Oh, no. Not again."

We may be able to recover lost Edited Entries from the Wayback Machine at web.archive.org. It takes a copy of the h2g2 front page about every week and some of the pages linked from it.

If you know when the entry was published it should be possible to get a version of it back.
