Stephen thinks Robyne of the Hoode has been wandering around in Sherwood of The Forest for too long as Stephen is of the evenly-fitting type...

Robyn will be with you sporadically as she's still at work and trying to be surreptitious!

Robyn says that if that means does she like metal and get the lurgy a lot, yes, she is... And adds that it's not often she's accused of being a lady, let alone a fine one and wants to know what you'er after. I've suggested she's far too cynical and a little harsh but she insists I check...

..Stephen says he is not after anything, just fine and pleasant company... And Stephen is not in the business of trying to "get on" with anyone, let alone a nice Lady like you, on the internet. He likes reading and having quiet evenings at home, but lacks company other than on hootoo.
He hopes this may explain a little more about him....

Robyn says she's none the wiser, is still curious about this metal lurgy (thinks she may be suffering from it with a stiff back after a particularly heavy metal night friday) and says she's just never quite sure when people bandy polite compliments around how to take them... *but whispers that she does quite like it, but not to tell anyone!*

Metallurgy is basically the study of the area of metals, from mining to manufacturing, and has it's specialised fields, a bit like Medicine, I suppose. Sxometimes though, after a very hectic night, Stephen often wonder if I he is a Mentalurgist..
On a serious note, however, there is nothing wrong or improper about being polite, and the comments Stephen may make are not just thrown about willy nilly. Stephen was brought up to be polite and respectful, and whispers back that he hopes you understand his meaning. Besides, politeness, courtesy, and civility are good "qualities" to have, and they don't cost a penny..
Anyway, you are a very nice Lady, if Stephen may say so himself...

Robyn's blushing... People wot know her rarely call her lady *which is why she secretly likes it really*...
And she says she's not a metallurgist but wishes she were! But adds that she'd also like to be a geologist and a horse trainer. Oh, and perhaps a meterorologist too. And a social anthropologist. And now she's wondering if perhaps she ought to go lie down in a dark room again for a while... When she's in the light too long her brain overheats...

Stephen has just said that he has had his two small s, and it is time for him to go to bed. Before he goes, he just wants to post a link to where his employer is sending him for specialised training..all expenses paid..
..Now he is beginning to look like some sort of smarty pants!!!

Stephen politely suggests that perhaps Robyne should think about coming to Australia.... Not to meet him of course, but the employment opportunities her are immense, employers are crying out for workers and offering top conditions. The economy is booming, and a change of government is about to happen..then it will be Party Time....
Anyway, Goodnight and >ta> for spending your time chatting with me.....and here is a secret ..Don't say anything to anyone please.....

Robyn is complaining that you cant go telling her things like that and expect her not to want to tell someone!!!!
And she adds that she couldn't stand the heat but thank you... She'd love to visit one day though.

Quotha! "I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I intended to be." Posted Sep 11, 2007
Quotha wanders into the room and spends some time reading all the writing on the wall. She admires the penmanship and polite phraseology but sneaks a pen out and fixes a couple of misspellings and puts in a comma or two. Quotha puts the pen away, stands back and admires the walls again, then wanders out.
