Could "oreo" be a derogatory term for someone who is black outside and white inside? Just wondering. smiley - smiley

It is.

There are other terms with similar connotations, [COLOR] "on the outside WHITE on the inside.

There's Banana or Twinkie for Asians and Coconut for various shades of brown.

And there's apple for native Americans.

I think that Lena Horne became very confused and bitter. Parts of "'Til the clouds roll by" were not shown in the Deep South, because she was in them.

You can call me TC - so relieved the site is back up again

I've just realised that the cookie banners (all four of them) have disappeared for some time now. I just noticed the green shield, situated discreetly in the corner, which means that they've finally got the idea.

I'm neutral on cookies, but the green shield covers up part of the post, so I can only get a partial idea what's there.

Yeah, I don't mind the cookies themselves but I absolutely abhorred the repeated cookie permission notice pop-up.

In Brunel the green shield is innocuous.

In my state we have a health insurance company called Blue Cross Blue Shield. I wonder what kind of health insurance would have a green shield. smiley - winkeye
