Tomorrow my plan is to go swimming, then enjoy lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant. I'll come back home and plant some chrysanthemum seeds in little biodegradable pots. I had planned to plant the seeds three weeks ago, but when I went to do it, I realized that I had forgotten to order any seeds. smiley - blush I had to look for seeds in the local garden stores [none to be found], and finally ordered some online. They arrived yesterday.

The weather was lovely - I got washing dry outdoors & some useful gardening. Our neighbours were out which was a bonus.

Not my own experience, but my h2g2 ACE just posted a photo on FaceBook of a day of kite flying - - - gorgeous blue skies with many air-borne thingies.

Unc(onformity) and her husband PSG are just another pair that drifted and have no apparent interest in returning.

Deb

There was an unexpected break in the rain yesterday afternoon so I quickly dragged the dog out for a walk, which was nice.

Unfortunately this was somewhat spoilt 10 minutes in by the return of the rain. It came back with a vengeance, to the extend the dog actually turned round and started heading home of his own accord smiley - rofl. We were both soaked!

But the soaking prompted me into a hot bubble bath with a good book, so looking at the complete experience it was very pleasant smiley - biggrin

Deb smiley - cheerup

I just had a peek and saw that if I booked now for a flight to the UK in May it would cost me 35 Euros there and back. I'm not sure whether I should book it because I haven't handed in the days off at work yet. On the other hand, it's for a get-together with all my cousins, some of which will have flown in from even further away, and which I have discussed at work already. But another girl in the department is away that week because she's getting married. So: nice, but I'm not all the way there yet.

My today thing will be knowing that a really lovely friend is going to enjoy a belated Easter feast with her kids - the lad is not quite 22, the daughter turns 21 today. Of the many times I've 'leant her a hand' with coins, today is maybe about the best occasion for them. smiley - smiley

TC if its the end of May, you could always come along to a wedding reception or hootoo meet... depending on the balance of visitors we get smiley - laugh

nice things today... not sure... I cleaned the bathroom that was nice, and woke up eventually enough to have done so, after feeling so weak beforehand for ages that I thought I'd only just spend the day going back to bed smiley - sleepy Oh, and spoke to my Dad on the phone too smiley - zen dinner and an epic bath and maybe pub, to yet look forward too smiley - zen

I did seriously think about gatecrashing your wedding, 2legs, if only to be able to meet William and tell him how much we all appreciate the support he has given you and what a hero he is.

But I don't think I'll get the time of work twice in one month.

Nice thing today - went to a spa pool and had a massage. Pleasantly surprised that for a Bank Holiday Monday it was not really full.

Nothing especially nice today (too much rain to enjoy a stroll outdoors), but the usual circuit of an indoor shopping mall followed by a large chocolate chip cookie and rich coffee with cream were ncie enough. smiley - smiley

Gatecrash?! no need!; at some point I must put out the public invitation on HooToo.... - to the post wedding in the pub event smiley - alesmiley - discosmiley - diva - we're quite restricted on numbers at the actual ceramony err... which reminds me I must finish sending out invitations smiley - laugh err... and find out what I'm goign to wear... and organise the spa for the Tuesday before, and sort out what I'm doing with my hair, and arrange/book a pedicur and manicur and... organise the reception and, find out what my Bridesmaid/best man (my Brother), fancies doing for a hen/stag doo smiley - laugh if your about on the err... whatever date it is... 26th or 27th, come along! smiley - laughsmiley - cheers

nice... nice very nice good dinner just cooked and eaten smiley - drool - so the hob doesn't work, the oven doesn't work; but I've still got a grill and I can convince it it is an oven by modifying the fan setting smiley - laugh roast salmon, peppers and onions, with leftover new potatos, reheated/re-cooked in olive oil and oragino and black pepper smiley - droolsmiley - magic

another good/nice thing, W gave me a new well, its like a dress, basically but I think its actually an Arabic .... no idea what the name is, thing smiley - laugh Not sure I could get away wearing this out though... well, certainly not when I'm naked underneath smiley - laugh ,blush> smiley - blush oh, and I had a nice long relaxing bath, with various nice expensive bath things, including one that was purple and turned all the water purple, and oats wash for the skin and coconut shampoo and shaved my legs (I still miss chemotherapy-smooth legs!) smiley - laughsmiley - zen
